Dry offset printing (also known as letterset or curved offset) uses relief plates mounted on cylinder drums. The inked images from the plates are transferred onto a single rubber blanket sleeve. The cup is then pressed against this blanket, transferring all six colors in one rotation. Unlike screen printing, which prints color-by-color, dry offset allows for faster run speeds, lower print costs, and high-speed production.
Polyolefins such as Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) have non-porous surfaces with low surface energy, which makes it difficult for ink to adhere.
